2025
Four team members traveled to Butere, Kenya and accomplished the following projects:
  • Worshipped and participated in services at two local churches and gave a message on the "colors of Salvation"
  • Held a Community Day for over 500 local children where team members led games and bible stories and distributed bread and soda
  • Held a Sponsorship Day for all Sponsored Children and their families.  Children wrote letters and got pictures taken for their sponsors and team members distributed school supplies, blankets, soap, cooking oil and sugar.
  • Partnered with local medical staff to conduct a two-day medical outreach that provided aid to 1,066 individuals
  • Dedicated a new well at the Eshibembe school and visited all the Clean Water Wells in the communities.
  • Did three home visits and brought food and supplies to the families.
  • Worshipped and greeted the Tushauriane ​Aids Support Group and distributed food and supplies.

Three team members traveled to Butere, Kenya and accomplished the following projects:

  • Visited and fellowshipped with children and staff at three Primary schools and distributed school supplies
  • Worshipped and participated in services at two local churches
  • Held a Community Day for local children where team members led games and activities, and gave all the children gifts, bread and soda
  • ​Held a Sponsorship Day for all Sponsored Children and their families where team members took pictures of the students and distributed gifts and shoes
  • ​Partnered with local medical staff to conduct a medical outreach at a local clinic
  • Dedicated a new water well at Manyulia
  • Distributed mattresses to members of the Tushauriane Group (a support group for men and women who are HIV+)
The team finished the trip with a safari.

Seven team members traveled to Butere, Kenya and accomplished the following projects:
  • Visited homes of five families and provided them with food and supplies
  • Visited and fellowshipped with children and staff at two schools
  • Held a Community Day for local children where team members led games and activities, and gave all the children gifts, bread and soda
  • Held a Sponsorship Day for all Sponsored Children and their families where team members took pictures of the students and distributed gifts and mattresses
  • Partnered with local medical staff to conduct a medical outreach for local families
  • Dedicated a new water well at Eshibembe Primary School and visited two others to check on their operation
  • Presented puppet shows at several events and worship services
The team ended the trip with a two-day safari and a dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant

2011

Eight team members traveled to Butere, Kenya and accomplished the following mission projects:
  • Attended the Tushauriane support group meeting and distributed food
  • Conducted a Child Sponsorship meeting and distributed gifts to the children and food to the families.  T-shirts decorated by children in the US were distributed to the sponsored children.  Sponsored children wrote letters to their sponsors and, to the surprise and blessing of the team, the families of the sponsored children provided gifts to Rainbow Christian Missions.
  • A 3 - day medical outreach provided medicine and care to over 2500 men, women, and children
  • A Community Day celebration provided a day of fun and games for community children and the team distributed gifts, shoes, and a snack of bread and soda to the children.  The team also performed skits for the families.
  • The team worshiped at the Anglican Parish in Butere, the Word of Life Church in Sabatia, and the home church of Shadrack Owuor.
  • A Clean Water well was dedicated at the Butere Hospital to provide water for the hospital, the Tushauriane support group, and the community.
​​​​​The team ended the trip with a 2 - day safari and a dinner at the Carnivore restaurant.

2010

  • Attended the Tushauriane support group meeting and distributed food
  • Conducted a Child Sponsorship meeting and distributed gifts to the children and food to the families.  Sponsored children wrote letters to their sponsors.
  • A 3 - day medical outreach provided medicine and care to over 2500 men, women, and children
  • A Community Day celebration provided a day of fun and games for community children and the team distributed gifts and a snack of bread and soda to the children.  The team also performed skits for the families.
  • The team visited the homes of two of the sponsored children.
  • The team worshiped with the Butere Girls High School Christian Union, a church in Kakamega, and the Anglican Parish in Butere.
  • Provided gifts of sewing materials to the RUSH Sewing school in Kakamega.
The team ended the trip with a 2 - day safari and a dinner at the Carnivore restaurant.

  • Provided Mosquito nets, blankets, and other supplies to Sponsored children, needy families, and schools
  • Dedicated a Medical Clinic building and conducted an eye clinic and medical outreach
  • Provided assistance to six small businesses through business loan programs
  • Dedicated a new well in Pap Onditi and distributed maize to families
  • Dedicated a Childrens Home in Butere for Orphans
The team ended the trip with a 2 - day safari​

Two teams traveled to Butere, Kenya in 2006.  There were a total of 16 individuals on the teams and together they accomplished the following mission projects:
  • Conducted art projects with the children
  • ​Attended the Tushauriane support group meeting and distributed food
  • Made Chalk Boards for the children for school
  • Distributed mattresses and blankets to children in Pap Onditi
  • Donated desks in a school
  • Visited six schools
  • Conducted a Business seminar and provided assisted to eight small businesses
  • Took Family photos
  • Lead an open air church service
  • Provided supplies to a school in the Kibara Slums and conducted a medical outreaach
The team ended the trip with a 2 - day safari​

Fifteen team members traveled to Butere, Kenya and accomplished the following mission projects:
  • Visited the Kibara Slums
  • Conducted an Art Class and a Bible School with the children
  • Dedicated a new school building, new playground equipment, and a new Boys Dormitory
  • Conducted a medical outreach in Butere
  • ​Met the Tushauriane Support Group which were mostly women
  • Led worship services at the Butere Miracle Center and Anglican churches
The team ended the trip with a 2 - day safari
