Mission Teams
Mission teams, usually one each year, led by Ruth Dietz travel to Butere to provide aid to the people, churches, schools, medical facilities and other organizations in western Kenya. Team members not only have the opportunity to perform God's work, but most return home, having received even more than what they have given.
Although most projects and activities the team perform are based upon the mission programs supported by Rainbow Christian Missions, team members with specific talents and gifts often have the opportunity to utilize those gifts during the trip. The mission trips also provide the opportunity for sponsors to spend time with their sponsored child.
Mission trips usually are about 3 weeks in length. The last 2 - 3 days of the trip include a safari to one of Kenya's spectacular game lands.
