Programs: Donation of Goods
Individuals in Butere and surrounding communities are in need of many things. Through the Child Sponsorship Program, the Medical Outreach Program and the Eyeglass Program, Rainbow Christian Missions supports specific education and health care needs. Rainbow Christian Missions also gathers items that are in need in these communities. Currently, the following items are in great demand:
| BIBLES |
Bibles, bible stories and biblical educational books are needed for individuals as well as the church leaders. Although the King James version of the bible is used most frequently, any version is welcomed. |
| SCHOOL SUPPLIES |
Paper, pencils, pencil sharpeners, crayons and other school-related items. |
| BICYCLES |
Sturdy bicycles in good operation that can withstand the riggors of the dirt roads and country paths on which most individuals must travel. These are used not only by the general population, but by pastors, church leaders, school administrators and business owners in conducting their personal, business and professional responsibilities. |
| GENERATORS |
Electricity is often-times unavailable in many locations where church and evangelism activities are conducted. Gas-powered or battery-powered generators that can be used in these locations are in great demand. |
