Mission Programs: Children's Group Home
In 2005, one of the boys in RCM's Child Sponsorship Program died as a result of drinking a poisonous liquid. This boy was seeking attention. He was an orphan. To help prevent this type of cry for help in the future, RCM decided to fund the buidling of Chirldren's Homes for orphans. These homes would provide a safe and loving atmosphere for orphans. Construction of the first home was begun in 2006.
In addition to funding the building of Children's Group Homes, a "Rainbow House" was built to house RCM missionairies traveling to Butere.
