Mission Projects

Teams of 12 - 15 volunteers spend a week to 10 days providing support and guidance to the churches, schools and community of Butere and its surrounding areas. Teams also participate in other projects related to construction, medical outreach, education and community development.

Butere
The village of Butere is a small farming community in western Kenya, near the border of Uganda. Teams spend a great deal of time interacting with the people and the culture of the community.

Church Services
Team members have an opportunity to participate in and lead services at the Butere Miracle Center and other local churches.

Schools
Team members are blessed with the opportunity to spend time and interact with children at many of the local primary and high schools.

Nairobi
Teams arrive in Nairobi to start their adventures in Kenya. While there, they spend time visiting the slum area of Kibera. The city offers a stark contrast to the farming village of Butere.

Countryside
Teams have the opportunity to travel throught the countryside and to visit other metropolitan centers such as Kisumu and Kakamega.

Safari
The animals and picturesque beauty seen while on safari at the end of the mission trip provides a final lasting memory for all team members.
